Near Fulwell Station, opposite Loch Fine, you'll find The Prince of Wales. You'll see the bar in front of you immediately upon walking in, where you can buy a decent selection of real ales (including Twickenham Ales - Winter Cheer just at the minute in January), lagers and wines.

To your right, you'll see a telly and a brightly lit room - the telly is probably showing sport - both rugby and football. You'll also see framed a signed rugby shirt.

To your left you'll see a darker room with a couple of leather sofas, a real fireplace (one of my favourite hobbies is poking and feeding the fire) fuelled with wood and coal, and further in a dark room leading into a brighter restaurant.

The staff are very friendly (though a few are a bit slow), and the restaurant serves excellent and reasonably priced (though not super cheap) French(ish) food - not your typical pub fair. You can also eat the restaurant food at the pub tables if you prefer.

Wednesdays is an acoustic night, where the restaurant closes and a bunch of people with guitars entertain themselves, and Thursday is quiz night, hosted by punters (I've taken part in and won the quiz on more than one occasion.

This is a decent pub with a mixed clientèle serving good beers kept well (the owners of Twickenham brewery often drink in here).

    This
is a lovely looking pub but our visit was slightly spoilt by average beer and
the cacophonous combination of a live football match on TV and a pub quiz
    trying to transpire in tandem.

The venue and the beer choice means I'd definitely like to give it another
    shot.

Room at the back for a sit down meal. I guess the room can be hired out.
